Trees are the blood vessels of the earth, and blood vessels are the trees in the human body.

In the process of growing up, people actively or passively face loneliness. My inspiration comes from the fear and numbness of facing loneliness, and I get used to this state during this process. Nature has brought me much inspiration. I use the shape of blood vessels to depict the roots of trees; blood vessels are also known as trees in our bodies. My personal experiences motivated me to create this series of works. The separation I faced when my loved ones passed away, and my pets gradually aged once again brought me a sense of loneliness. Living outside the home for a long time makes me feel a lack of understanding of belonging. The roots of trees deeply penetrate the soil, which is also my desire for home and belonging.

A profound connection between nature and humans creates astonishing similarities between the complex networks that sustain life. Life is destined to be a long and lonely journey, just like the life of a tree.
