Mengyao Zhang hails from Henan Province, China, and embarked on her academic journey in the United States in 2016, enrolling at St. Mary's High School in Oregon. In the summer of 2018, she enriched her artistic pursuits by participating in UC Berkeley’s esteemed summer school painting program. Currently, she is pursuing her studies at Savannah College of Art and Design.

Throughout her artistic education, Mengyao has demonstrated range of interests, exploring various creative methodologies. Her portfolio encompasses painting, photography, 3D modeling, installation art. Each serves as a canvas for her imaginative expression. Drawing inspiration from her personal experiences and observations of the world, Mengyao infuses her work with a distinctive blend of introspection and exploration.

Her artistic evolution is marked by transition from traditional painting to technological installations, fueled by an insatiable curiosity and a penchant for embracing new challenges. Currently, she is dedicated to fostering deeper connections between her artworks and the audience, inviting viewers to engage with her pieces and even collaborate in the creation of art.
